Like every year, authenticdalmatia, the largest database of Dalmatian
stone properties, has announced top 5 destinations to invest in Croatia
in 2007/2008. Considering the number of queries, protected nature,
infrastructure, future projects, property prices and percentage of
investment revenue within a period of 10 years, five most attractive
destinations in Dalmatia are:
1. ISLAND OF HVAR
Croatian most
famous island with the town of Hvar as the hottest spot on Dalmatian
coast, it is one of the most expensive and most attractive destinations
in Croatia. New boutque hotels, the longest season and huge potential
makes this destination as one of the most attractive of all to invest.
2. SIBENIK
- beautiful town in Middle Dalmatia with property prices cheaper than
in other areas, but with the most attractive archipelago on Dalmatian
coast. Future projects of new hotels in town center, new moorings for
cruisers and closeness to the high-way will make property prices much
higher in few years.
3. ISLAND OF VIS
- still attractive, protected, non-commercial and beautiful, this small
island in front of Split is again on this list. Interest has moved to
its inland where properties with fantastic seaviews can be found for
cheaper prices. Fantastic atmosphere, beautiful bays and great
restaurants.
4. ISLAND OF LASTOVO
– recently became Natural park protected
by government, still cheaper than other islands, untouched nature,
beautiful bays, far enough from commercial and overcrowded areas
5. DALMATIAN INLAND
- cheap and beautiful stone properties
with big land plots located only 10-30 minutes from the sea, fantastic
nature, great future projects...
Other attractive areas are the center of Split (Varos, Radunica,
Diocletians palace), Makarska riviera with beautiful pebble beaches,
island of Korcula with ancient town of Korcula and in the last few
years Omis and peninsula of Peljesac.
